The solution comprised a combination of technologies in Aiwozo to ensure the successful automation of the process. The first step was to apply Intelligent Character Recognition (ICR) to extract as much data as feasible from the purchase orders and define tags for the data obtained. After this, Aiwozo’s Natural Language Programming (NLP) was used to read the instructions field and create meaningful action from the instructions.
Lastly, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) was used to take this extracted data to update the systems and route the specific actions derived from the instructions to particular teams for completion.
